• Luke Chez, 16

Luke admits he can’t cook. He once declared to his mother that “making pasta is an exact science”…only to read the label saying it wasn’t. However, he loves the ambrosia of problem solving, kicking around a soccer ball, building robots, and imagining ways he can avenge the fact that his little sister always hogs the TV room just when he wants to watch his favorite show. He loves OJ but not oranges from a traumatic kindergarten episode, wishes he were more confident, and hopes to reclaim his childhood dreams that died when they hit reality. His mom says his most important thing to remember is to turn off his car before he leaves.

  • Mr. Milo Imperium (“Mr. Imp” for short)

Mr. Imp loves sharks, especially ones with a hammer-like head and a name of Mr. Imperium, and also sand dollars; lots of them. His mother left him when he was young (all shark moms do), but Mr. Imp took it personally, leading to his goal of being the biggest, baddest, most powerful creature in the ocean to make up for the giant hole in his heart. He likes to daydream about his mom returning to him on top of his (rather uncomfortable) sand dollar bed and how proud she would be if she saw his kelp empire, which is why he drives his workers so hard. However, deep down, like all of us, Mr. Imp just wants to be loved.

  • Spunk the Axolotl

Critically endangered cousins to tiger salamanders, axolotls possess the cool ability of being able to fully regenerate (grow back) organs and body parts, but little did Mr. Imp know his buddy Spunk would be able to regenerate his heart! Our beloved Spunk loves inviting homeless sea creatures to live in his boss’s mansion, cleaning spare rooms, and teaching creatures to lead with kindness.
